Terminal Notice
These regulations govern all activity within the Final Call Terminal and city limits. Ignorance of the rules is not an accepted defense. By boarding, you agree to uphold the standard of roleplay this city deserves.
REG-01
Community Standards
01Toxicity: We strive to keep the community a fun and safe place to be. Acting toxic or ignorant after the fact will not be tolerated.
02Exploiting: If you cheat, perma ban.
03Metagaming: Utilizing knowledge that your character did not learn in the city through a legitimate roleplay scenario or interaction is strictly prohibited.
04Powergaming: The use of an in-game mechanic that gives you an advantage over others, or uses a mechanic in a way it was not intended to be used.
05Random Death Match (RDM): Engaging in random combat — shooting, melee, etc. — with no intent to RP.
06Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM): Using a vehicle as a weapon against another player.
07DO NOT DM STAFF — open a ticket. This includes arguing with staff.
REG-02
Core Roleplay Rules
01Remain in Character: Citizens must remain in character at all times while in the city. Conversations outside the context of the city are seen as breaking character and are prohibited.
02Value of Life: You must value your life at all times — treat your character as you would in real life when facing dangerous situations.
03New Life Rule (NLR): If you choose to take the light instead of utilizing medical service, you are to FORGET the last scene you were part of and what led up to you going to the hospital. Information may only be gathered again if someone informs you in character after the fact, without your influence.
04FailRP and/or Low Quality RP: Failing to roleplay a situation as it would occur in real life.
05ForceRP: Forcing an RP scenario or action on someone against their will.
- —Taking someone hostage is NOT ForceRP simply because they do not want to be the hostage.
06Character Farming: The fastest way to get banned from Final Call. This includes transferring items, cash, vehicles, or property between your own characters — whether done directly or through a third party.
07Combat Logging: Leaving the city to avoid roleplay or a punishment.
08Serial Killer RP: There is a consent channel in Discord for this style of RP.
REG-03
Conflict & Criminal Activity
01Initiation: Initiation is the act of introducing an RP scene to an individual. Initiation is REQUIRED before any form of conflict.
02Hostages: Hostages must be genuine and willing participants. If the hostage is not legitimate, both the hostage and hostage-taking parties will be at fault.
- —Cannot use someone in your organization or close friend group.
- —Cannot take business workers who are on the clock. Customers may be taken, but business owners have the right to defend.
- —You may take PD hostage, as long as they are not on an active scene. Your scene counts as an active scene.
- —On-duty EMS or DOJ cannot be hostages.
03Transportation Swaps: You are limited to a total of 2 transportation swaps (vehicle, boat, aircraft, etc.) per chase.
04Fleeing: If you are choosing to flee from law enforcement there must be a valid reason. Simply fleeing for no reason is considered toxic behavior.
Note:Criminal RP is a vital part of city life — but it must serve the story and have legitimate RP behind it.
REG-04
Specialized Departments & Evidence
01EMS / Medical Treatment: Medical roleplay is a vital aspect of the community.
- —Crimes against EMS — hostages, murder, robbery, etc. — are prohibited.
- —Properly roleplay your injuries with on-scene EMS personnel. They are trained in this expertise and deserve the chance to showcase their knowledge.
- —If EMS has informed you they are en route to your location, you are not allowed to take the light.
02Bodycams / Recorded Footage: Bodycams are any form of video or recording device used as evidence for roleplay purposes. Under these circumstances your bodycam footage will be admissible in court and with IA. Use /me to indicate you are recording.
REG-05
Prohibited Roleplay Scenarios
01Pregnancy RP: Absolutely no pregnancy roleplay.
02Suicide RP: Any and all forms of suicide RP — either conducting or attempting — is strictly prohibited.
03Torture RP: Torture RP is not allowed.
04ERP (Erotic Roleplay): No form of Erotic Roleplay including /me's. Kissing, hugging, piggyback, etc. are acceptable.
- —This violates many different Terms of Service agreements.
- —This is an RP server for adults, but it is not a porn server.
All rules are subject to change without notice. It is your responsibility to check back often. All rule additions can be altered, edited, changed, swapped, enforced, or otherwise modified for any instance, for any reason, at any time.
